Combining a  love of Middle Eastern music of all kinds with an understanding of the dance and the cultures  it sprang from,  Anala brings  vitality and playfulness to all of her  classes.  Winner of several  belly dance competitions,  and a long established local performer,  Anala has performed on stages in New Mexico and West Texas.  Anala has designed her classes for those  who  want to begin a  fun new hobby,  those wishing  to become more fit and loose weight,  and those wishing to learn a dance form that will bring them greater  bodily awareness and a new sense of confidence,  no matter  their size or age. 


 

All classes are just $5!!  Purchase a punch card that contains a block of 12 classes for $50 and save $10. Cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase .

 ·  Tuesdays  6 to 7 PM  -  Thrills and Drills #1

Come expecting your heart rate to climb while you tone core muscles and burn up 300 calories an hour. Learn and drill good basic dance technique while we explore the rhythms and movements of   the  hottest Arabic and Turkish Club mixes out today.

·Wednesdays 5:15 to 6:15  - Bastet’s  Beginners  Class #1

This class  has a focus on the basic foundation movements of belly dance. We go at a slow and friendly pace and work with you to develop your sense of balance and rhythm.  No previous dance experience needed.  Moms with daughters under the age of 16 are 2 for one!!   This is a low stress, low impact class that  is easy on your joints and your mood.

· Thursdays 6 to 7 PM  - Cleopatra’s Combos

Lets put it all together and do a few steps and combos and maybe a little free form dancing.  Various dance props will be explored as well as more complex rhythm  structures.

· Saturdays :  10  to 11 AM    Bastet’s Beginners class #2

Too busy for Wednesday evening? This class has a focus on the basic foundation movements of belly dance.
